The Gift for Peace will provide a farmer with a beehive. This transformative gift will not only provide a sustainable income for families – the bees will help in the pollination of crops and provide an essential food source.
Farmers in Zimbabwe are extremely vulnerable to the dry harsh conditions of droughts making it difficult to produce crops.
Our local partner, Christian Care, works on building sustainable livelihoods and climate resilience with local communities in Zimbabwe helping to make sure they can thrive on their land. People like Amelia (pictured) work on many projects like beekeeping, creating orchards and making fishponds.
