Ordering and delivery
How long until my card arrives?
Australian orders
Our team will work to get your card to you as soon as possible. In the peak season (October to December), please allow two working days for your order to be processed. It will then be shipped by Australia Post. Please visit the Australia Post website for delivery times.
You may also choose to have your cards sent by Express Post ($10 extra). Express Post cards will normally be sent the same day if the order is made before 11am EDST. Please note: Express Post only operates in these areas within Australia.
Order before 9 December for the best chance of receiving your gifts in time for Christmas!
International Orders
Please select this option when you order online ($20 extra). Please allow ample time for your Gifts for Peace cards to arrive.
Can I have my card sent directly to someone else?
For physical cards, we recommend receiving the gift yourself as each gift contains a blank card to let you personalise it your own message. Alternatively, an e-card which can be personalised and sent directly to your chosen recipient on the date of your choosing.
Can I order via phone?
Yes, you can order your Gifts for Peace via phone. Please contact our friendly team on 1800 025 101.
Receipts and tax-deductibility
Is each Gifts for Peace tax-deductible?
Yes, each Gift for Peace is tax-deductible. Upon purchase, you will receive a receipt in your name. Please note that the receipt cannot be made in the name of the person receiving the gift.
How it works
When I purchase a Gift for Peace, does the actual item get sent to the project?
The Gifts for Peace in our catalogue are real items that Act for Peace is helping to provide in the specified countries. The gifts you give will support our projects worldwide, allowing us to assist people displaced by conflict and disaster whenever and wherever help is needed most.
What will I receive?
When you purchase a Gift for Peace, you will have the option to select a physical card or an e-card. You have the choice of three different card designs to choose from.
Physical cards
Each physical card has a beautiful design and is blank on the inside for you to personalise for a loved one. Each card comes with an envelope and a free bookmark which contains information about the gift purchased. The cards are 99mm x 210mm.
E-cards
E-cards can be personalised after you purchase them, and you can select the day that your chosen recipient receives their Gift for Peace. Please note that e-cards do not come with a bookmark.
